ABOUT GILMARTIN CONSULTING

Stella has been a passionate educator and facilitator throughout her working life and established Gilmartin Consulting in 2008 to deliver tailored programmes that bring positive and lasting changes to individuals and organisations.

With a BA in Psychology, a Masters degree in Human Resources and a Post graduate Diploma in Adult Education, Stella is definitely a people person.

Gilmartin Consulting is as far removed from the ‘one-size-fits-all’ consultancy approach as it could possibly be.

Stella relishes the challenge of connecting with her clients , identifying their needs and developing a bespoke work programme whether it be training, coaching or consultancy support.

Over the years Gilmartin Consulting has worked with a wide range of clients across the private, public and voluntary sector. CEOs, Senior Management Teams in business, Senior Civil Servants in Government and Departments and Public Bodies, Political Representatives and the Northern Ireland Assembly – they have all worked with Stella for sorts of personal and corporate reasons from seeking  to enhance their skills, to improving their confidence and becoming more effective leaders.

After graduating, Stella taught and lectured in Psychology in Dublin and London for 15 years. On returning home to Northern Ireland she worked in Change Management Consultancy before joining Belfast City Council as the lead Equality and Diversity Specialist developing ground breaking Equality and Diversity policies and systems sharing her knowledge and expertise locally across Northern Ireland in Local and Central Government.

Stella is an accomplished public speaker, coach and facilitator and has delivered workshops and seminars on Diversity,  Personal & Organisational Effectiveness  and Retirement. Stella has delivered programmes locally, nationally and internationally.
